Hello, We are trying to configure a Sun Ray server to interact with VirtualGL. We wonder if it is possible to have VirtualGL use the graphical acceleration hardware of a Linux machine and send the rendered images to the Sun Ray Server Software? Or if it is possible to have VirtualGL use the graphical acceleration hardware and send the rendered images directly to the Sun Ray Client? We've tried to set up the desired situation by running vglclient on the Sun Ray session and setting the following environment variables: VGL_DISPLAY=:0.0 VGL_CLIENT=:11.0 (11.0 is the display number used for the Sun Ray session) DISPLAY=:0.0 When we execute vglrun to accelerate glxgears: vglrun -c 1 glxgears, we get the following error: [VGL] pbuffer-- [VGL] 111: Could not create Pbuffer It should be noted that when we do not set the DISPLAY environment variable to :0.0, the vglrun software tries to connect to display :11.0, even though VGL_DISPLAY is correctly set We've also tried not using vglclient, and thus not using compression (compression would only slow things down, since we're running the Sun Ray Server on the same machine as the virtualGL server), but we get the same error...
