1) Unzip the attached zip into the VCalendar folder,
overwriting existing files.
2) Login as admin, go to Administration->Permissions
and set the permissions as follows:
General
Who can add new events - Administrator
Public events permissions
Who can UPDATE public events - Administrator
Who can DELETE public events - Administrator
Private events permissions
Who can READ private events - Event Owner
Who can UPDATE private events - Administrator
Who can DELETE private events - Administrator
Now you should have "Users" listbox in "Add event"
page where you can select user for an event. "Public"
checkbox is now
unchecked by default, so events will be for dedicated
users only.
3) Empty the events table before you start with
renewed calendar.
So, now you can login as admin, assign private events
for users, and they can login and see their own events
only (as well as public events).
