VirtMus (virtual music) allows the user to display multi-page sheet music and flip pages without removing the hands (or feet) from the instrument the music is performed on. It is very useful during concerts and practice sessions.

I am testing VirtMus and Music Reader for their ability to display scores. Both seem capable at this time. Question for VirtMus. Once you load a sheet of music into the program, is there a way to move the sheet around ??? I imported music that was loaded into Music Reader, which displays fine, and almost half the pages in VirtMus have the tops of the score chopped off. Any ideas ???

Thanks to this software now I can play my violin with much more comfort! We musicians are always reading scores and before this invention many of them were necessary to be printed. It's no more necessary to print the many sheets of paper. This thing is not only environmentally correct but also a genial idea. You can also write in the digital score and visualize the corrections you have just made to it. This software is the contribution of one high skilled person to the music world. Well thought out and nicely executed. I've added a foot pedal and touch screen monitor to my Linux system to enhance the experience, and have been pulling in my scanned sheet music and (alas, relatively few!) PDF files. Works well. Highly recommended!
