[vimb-users] Files ~/.config/vimb/* are not being updated

People,

I have tried:

   chmod 777 ~/.config/vimb

   chmod 666 ~/.config/vimb/*

but history etc are not updated - even after I create them manually.  I 
have renamed the current .config/vimb and when I run vimb the dir is 
recreated but it is empty and no files are added.  There is history in:

   ~/.cache/vimb/hsts-storage.sqlite

but I need the other files . .

When I save a bookmark, I see the popup telling me it was saved but 
there is no change in the bookmarks file . .

I must be stupidly missing something obvious?
