When some one dials extension 100 on a MP a tone is heard. As we rotate the MP the tone frequency gets higher as the batman metric to the gateway (or average of metrics to nodes we can see) increases. The tone is broken up (stuttered) depending on how many nearby nodes there are. For example beep-beep-beep-pause-beep-beep-beep-pause means 3 nodes nearby.

This feature could be implemented as an Asterisk application (app_signalstrength), the added to the dialplan.

Alternative is to say "3 nodes, good signal". We could use a script to read the batman stats.
