[Viking-devel] waypoint icons

Hi all,

I'm looking at all the cute little icons on my Garmin and wondering how to
get them to work in Viking.  The obvious solution is to add a symbol type
to the waypoint data structures, and draw appropriate icons.  However, it
seems that this starts to overlap with the waypoint photos feature.=20
Were the photos
intended to be waypoint icons?  Or was the intention to have actual digital
photos of people etc. from trips etc. linked to locations?

I'm leaning toward the latter option. Is anyone even using the
waypoint photo feature
as a pretty-icon enabler?  I'm itching to implement the former and draw up =
some
icons for the stock Garmin symbols and need some input.
