The Viewglob display was sometimes forgetting to convert filenames from their locale encoding to the encoding which GLib uses, resulting in frequent annoying error messages for people not using UTF-8. This has been fixed.... read more

The Viewglob display now understands the LS_COLORS environment variable used by GNU ls. Filenames can be coloured (foreground and background), boldened, and underlined. Also, the refocus algorithm has been tweaked to work more consistently in most window managers.... read more

This release adds a new shortcut - Ctrl-G <TAB> or Ctrl-G <ENTER> - to bring the focus back to the display and terminal when they get separated. Both windows will be brought to the front of the screen.... read more

It sits as a layer beneath an xterm and watches your bash or zsh shell activity as you type. An interactive GTK+ display shows the layout of relevant directories and highlights file selections and potential name completions.

This release adds an option to increase/decrease the default font and icon sizes in the display. Pseudo terminal code has been replaced, so compatibility should be improved in certain systems (Ctrl-C works fine in the BSDs now). There are several other minor bug fixes.... read more

This release adds an option to display listings in reverse order, such that the directory you reference most recently appears at the top of the display rather than the bottom. There is a also a middle ground option, where your current directory always appears at the top, but subsequently referenced directories appear in reverse (as described above).... read more
