Well I found a workaround! using a macro app xmacros, I made a simple macro that changes the tab(shift+left arrow) and then sends ctrl+g followed by a tab, which does the job just right. I can't share with you the macro right now(screwed internt connection), but I'll try to do that as soon as possible..
