VICE is great, but lacks in emulating the CRT-feeling which adds so much to nostalgia. Sure, the CRT-rendering has improved over the years but it is not very flexible and doesn't support custom shaders, like RetroArch for example.
This request goes way back to early 2020. Is there any chance that shaders will be supported? I don't see it on the TODO nor on the roadmap. Is this even something that will be considered?
Or do we get a very nice Xmas present and is it implemented by then? ;-)

It's not something any of us is working on right now - it is on the TODO list, however, it will still a while. There are other things that need to be fixed first.
