Hi!

Very long time ago I was asking to create Spanish and Danish Commodore 128 versions.
I hadn't ROMs.
Now I got special ROM pack for Commodore computers and found there several Spanish and Danish ROMs.
They're in format which is possible to adapt to VICE - I did it not in VICE, I did it in Z64K (which is not C64 based emulator like VICE and my favorite 'cause is C128 based) and Danish version works.
ROMs extracted and joined by me I will not share, but here: www.mirkosoft.sk/c128dksp.rar you can find ROMs I used, and keyboards photos with charsets in VIC screen screenshots.
I hope you will be successful like me and will add these two mising models to C128 list.
Else one model can or maybe exists - Belgian-French - I have only photo of keyboard, but no one ROM.
I'm sorry for outgoing from VICE, but I found even better alternative, of course in development.

The only difference between standard US kernals and the local ones would be the keyboard support, right?

VICE only supports native US keymaps, and given how it's implemented, if you add a localised kernal to VICE, the keyboard input will go toally bonkers. (True for the c64 - can I safely assume the same is valiud for the other platforms?)

In case of C128 it is not only keyboard layout - also chargen - like other localisations.
C64 has no any localisations default.

OK, agree - also the font could be different.

I'd like to know where those files come from exactly, especially those that do not have any chip ids in their filenames.
