When I do the following when running from CP/M it crashes x128
map is $7F
D506 is $49
D018 is $96
DD00 is 1 or 3
CPU is Z80
128K system.
I'd expect crap but instead it seems to crash. Using 9A so it's fetching software font junk gets me a display of junk as I'd expect
(3.6.1-2 fedora 36)
Please check if the problem is still present in current trunk, either build VICE yourself using these instructions -- they're for Debian and derivates, but should be easy to adapt to Fedora).
Or try using
aliento convert a deb package of our development builds to rpm.or alternatively please tell exactly what to do to reproduce that problem, including links to disk images we may need
I'm having the same issue having compiled 3.7.1 on Mint 21.1 kernel 5.15.0-58-generic. All of the other VICE emulated machines run perfectly, but x128 seg faults every time. I'm happy to share anything I can to help.
I've not been able to repeat it with 3.7.1 at this point. 3.6.x was doing a lot of very strange things. I will open a new bug for the stuff 3.7.1 is doing that appears to be totally insane
closing, no idea what to do with this shrug
