#1635 Joystick 2 settings not working

Machine settings/Joystick setttings for "Native joystick port 2" doesn't work.
To get joystick 2 working I have to set "Native joystick port 1" to "Host device" and apply "Swap native joystick ports". Setting "Native joystick port 2" to "Host device" doesn't work.

Both Machine settings/Joyport settings for "Control port 1" and "Control port 2" are set on "Joystick".

Did you set up the host joystick mappings when you tried native joystick port 2 ?

Remapped the host joystick 2 mappings. This automatically removed the mappings for joystick 1. And it is working.
I can't save the mappings though, so I have te remap every time I want to use joystick 2 after a restart.

I want to make sure that I understand what you are saying, you do the following:

• map emulator joystick #2 to a host joystick
• use 'settings management - save joymap
• quit the emulator
• start the emulator again

and then the mappings are not reloaded automatically ?

I did use "settings management - save current settings".
Using "settings management - save joystick map" did trick and it works now.
I didn't expect to use "save joystick map".

I understand the confusion, I'll look into a way of saving ALL settings when selecting 'save settings'.

I'm keeping this bug report open for now.
