Keyboard as a Joystick does not work at all on GTK/Win10

keyboard mapping is set as positional and italian... many keys don't even match but at least they work in the c64. but for joystick emulation via keyboard: no joy.
As usual, start with default config and then tell what you are doing and what doesnt work as expected. It works for me as far as i can tell.

As usual you seem to be unable or unwilling to follow simple instructions. Shouldn't be too hard to explain what you're doing, what you expect to happen and what doesn't work as expected.
Acting like a toddler who doesn't get his way won't do you any favors.
If you cant provide instructions on how to reproduce the problem, please do not open a ticket.
It works just fine out of the box with both italian keymaps in r40815 with default settings on win10 here (actually the keymap or the keyboard code that was changed doesnt even matter for this, it'll work even without any keymap).
