Using net.sf.VICE (Vice 3.2), Flatpak in Linux Mint 19
When trying to save the config I get a error msg. saying "Failed to save settings to default file."
Does anybody have a clue why ? Could it be access problems ?
Looks like it is trying to save to : /home/me/.config/vice/vicerc (this exist)
Also load settings fails.
Thanks,
We don't have anything to do with that "flatpak" thing, you should probably ask the author of that package.
That said, I took a look at the flatpak and noticed it builds the native Gtk3 UI from the 3.2 source tarball released in May; so you got an experimental build which lags severly behind the current trunk. So there will be bugs. If you want to try the Gtk3 build, check out trunk and build it yourself.
The author should have properly tested his package, but better yet, stuck to using the Gtk2 UI. (Which is what the screenshot on the flathub site shows)
Thanks compyx.
I built it today using GTK3 on current trunk and it works like a charm. Especially fullscreen now works flawlessly in my Linux Mint 19.
