vfStream - software streaming library / News: Recent posts

Development of vfStream has moved to the vfTasks project (http://source forge.net/projects/vftasks), which combines the streaming interfaces with other thread synchronization mechanisms and a thread pool to quickly create worker threads.

We comitted an alpha version of vfTasks, a C library to efficiently manage a pool of worker threads. Use vfTasks in conjunction with Vector Fabrics' vfThreaded-X86 or vfEmbedded products to quickly create data parallelism in your C code.

We have released version 1.0 of the vfStream library contributed by Vector Fabrics (http://vectorfabrics.com). Please see the project website (http://vectorfabrics.com/content/products/vfstream) for documentation and examples.
