Dec-01-2014 - found notes can be added with out being logged in. will fix this ASAP. Meanwhile you can put a redirect in the note.php file using

if($_SESSION['logged_in']==false)
:::

Also notes page will add new data over top of old data so that page is not UPDATING SQL, it is overwriting. will fix this soon as well.
