Hi Alex,

I have a licenced copy of Altium designer - but for prototyping with Strip Board, the amount of work required to define all the parts far outweighs the benefits of using it.

However, VeroRoute is brilliant for Strip Board layout design. It has two great advantages.

1) you can resize components easily (e.g. in the real world you often fit an axial resistor on (say) a 300mil or 400mil spacing to simplify layout). In Altium, this is multiple separate footprints.

2) Veroroute naturally adopts a copper strip layout (not so easy in Altium)

When working on any new circuit design, it is inevitable that you modify the design as you progress. And as a consequence the netlist changes.

I have a partially finished design, which is fully laid out using VeroRoute.
I've now fully finished the design and have a new netlist encompassing the entire design.

For the life of me, I cannot work out how to import the updated netlist into the existing VeroRoute layout without it ripping up all of the component layout and tracking.

Could you please advise me on how to do this.

Many thanks.
