How to add text to PCB ?

Hello,
I keep on testing VeroRoute.
To get my project clearer, I wanted to add some text near each used pin of DIP components.
I tried to add some pads with a name near each pin but it isn't very clean and prevents routing from working properly.
Is there any way to add free text on the project or to add a name on every component with several pins ?

Stéphane, could you give me an idea of the maximum length of the text for your pin labels?
If the labels are usually going to be short (e.g. 6 characters) then I can make text placement on the IC automatic and would allow pin labels for an IC to be edited via a new dialog. The alternative method (of allowing free text to be manually grouped to an IC) will make the tool messier to drive and so I want to avoid that if possible.
At the moment there is only the option to show IC pin numbers.
The only place that accepts arbitrary text input is the info window.
There is no way to place text on the diagram. If I add text objects then they will not be locked to the components or pins. It will probably be a special "component" (with no pins) that can be placed anywhere. It should be possible to bind it to a component using the group functionality. I'll consider it for next release.
I have added a new dialog in V1.24 for editing IC pin labels.
