Hi Mounir,
When using the default option in Settings -> Preferences -> "Preserve modification timestamp of file containers" the access time is still updated when using the file container in VeraCrypt which hints of possible VeraCrypt usage.
In my tests with the file container dismounted and not using VeraCrypt:
Using Windows Explorer right-click on the file container to select Properties of the dismounted file container will result in the Accessed time being changed for the current Windows boot session. You will need to perform the Properties twice to see the new value since the first access shows the previous accessed time.
Hence my statement of the access time data leak of possible VeraCrypt usage of the file container.
