Hello Mounir,

I wrote procedures for 1.26 or a newer version for users of how to convert their volumes from TrueCrypt Mode to VeraCrypt or change to a different hash and/or encryption algorithms.

My procedures for using the Portable Mode for the scenario where the user has already upgraded to 1.26 or a newer version cannot be used unless both the currently installed VeraCrypt software and the portable mode are the same version which is not possible in this scenario.

I realize that the portable application will give pop-up errors explaining the problem. However, that is after the fact rather than proactive reading of the documentation like I did and I assumed there were no restrictions as it relates to currently installed VeraCrypt software.

I would like to request that the Portable Mode documentation be updated to inform the users of this limitation.
