HELP - stuck in bit locker loop
Open source disk encryption with strong security for the Paranoid

Hi. I am running windows 10 on a surface pro. I was creating what I thought was a partition on my drive with veracrypt (which I had done before on my old laptop). I went through the steps and then hit restart. I am now stuck in a loop where I am asked for my password when I turn my surface on. It says success then goes to a blue bitlocker screen saying my security settings have changed and I need to enter a microsoft password. If I enter this (obtained from my ms account) it then takes me back to the first screen asking for my password. Is there a way forward from here. I seem to have locked my entire drive?? (I stupidly skipped the step to create a restore option as well).
I was able to run windows in safe mode in the end through the advanced options in bit locker and stop the encryption in veracrypt. Then it loaded correctly without the loop after another round of bitlocker. Just incase anyone else has this issue.
