Hello, this seems like it might be a FAQ but I haven't found anything so far.
I was given a Windows 10 laptop that has its BIOS protected by VC and the drive encrypted by VC. I can get into a Lenovo Windows 10 recovery screen but that's about it. All I'd like to do is re-format the drive and get the machine going again. I thought I'd try disconnected the CMOS battery (and regular battery) in hopes of getting back into BIOS , but that accomplished nothing.
Would love any thoughts on how to re-format the machine and, as I say, start over.
