After creating a Hidden Volume with a live CD on a SD card, I have tried to wipe the Outer Volume.
The write protection of Veracrypt for the Hidden part was activated by me on purpose :
and as result, the software I used (named Hardwipe) was prevented from accessing to the Hidden area
and thus canceling the operation....
At this time, I do not know if only the Outer Part has however been wiped by Hardwipe ?
= > So in this manner that would be normal that the Hidden part was write protected,
=> Or if the whole operation/process has been denied by Veracrypt ??
leading to no Wiping at all ! ?
Moreover, is it recommended to wipe the Outer Volume or is that meaningless on a SD card ??
Are leakages possible from Hidden part to Outer part ?? (if there is no Memory Swap on Live Medium Laptop ?)
thanks

it does not seem to be a so good idea to wipe the Outer Volume with let s say Bleachbit
nor it is necessary on a brand new external device
