I was trying to copy some files from an encrypted volume back to a normal folder on my pc. I found that I could only do this with one file at a time. This being tedious, I wanted to Select All instead.So I looked online and someone suggested dismounting the volume. But then the volume was invisible so I re-mounted it. Now the volume is empty! So apparently I have lost everything??

What error did you receive when you tried to copy more than one file?
Did you check the Windows event log looking for disk errors around the time you tried copying your files?
