Some days ago i almost destroyed my computer. I have a ssd which is my c: and a hdd as a d:. These to where raided and since i had no idea what i was doing i managed to remove the raid from the d: drive so i almost lost it. The drive d: couldn't be found in my win 11 but after getting a new program online, Anyrecover, and a new external usb-hdd i was able to save all files on my now "un-raided" d: drive. However, when i then try to mount my recoved .hc volume/file, the password does not work in veracrypt. It might be that the data is corrupted but hopefully not. So to my question, what to do??

Could you please provide some more detailed information on how you tried to recover from what kind of RAID drive? I don't think that you only use two storage devices for two RAID drives. RAID0 and RAID1 both need at least two independent devices. More complex variants need even more devices. Something's odd here.
I would advise visiting a data recovery forum or something similar.
After correct recovery of your container file, you could also try to mount using the backup header within your container file. There's a mount option for it.
Otherwise, in case, the container file is too heavily damaged, there is more or less nothing we can do.
Greets.

I had the raid setup, because I had no clue what it was and I could download amd-raidexpert from their site so I naturally thought it was a good thing to do.
So, yes, I had my SSD as my boot volume named c: and and an internal HDD as raid 0 or 1, I have no idea. So I removed the program, uninstalled the raid-drivers for d: and made all kind of stupid choices I think. But the program Anyrecover as said, found the d: drive but as "unknown" and it was a one-click backup option which transferred my files to my new external usb-hdd drive.
I was thinking if I need a keyfile or something from veracrypt, using the backup volume header doesn't seem to do it, get an error code 11200. And another weird thing, the back up program Anyrecover made 5 copies of the .hc file, named xxx.hc, xxx.hc_1 up to xxx.hc_4?? Does that tell anyone anything??
