error code 9128 offset does not align

I was using VeraCrypt version 124.7 and got error message The command specified a data offset that does not align to the devices granularity/alignment
Worked perfect when I was using it a lot, then went away for 6 weeks and this message appeared and I can not access data.
Upgraded to VeraCrypt 125.9 and same message appears but with different error code 9128
Is there a way to recover the encrypted file?
