I just installed windows 11 and now want to encrypt the system partition but do not want to type in a password every time I start my machine. But the checkbox 'Use keyfiles' is grayed out.
I choose:
--> Encrypt the system partition or entire system drive
--> normal
--> Encrypt the Windows system partition
--> single boot
--> Encryption Algorithm AES, Hash Algorithm SHA-512
In the next step 'Password' the checkbox Use keyfiles is grayed out.
Anyone knows why that is and how to ungray it?

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
I guess, the reason for this behaviour is, that you cannot provide any files to the VeraCrypt bootloader. Additionally, it's written in the documentation, that you will use a password for pre boot authentication.
