Does anyone have any idea what application may have overwritten every volume header on my disks (all 12 of them) and for at least four of those the backup header too?

I've been using Veracrypt since release and Truecrypt before that. I've never had a single issue up until now apart from the odd corrupted primary header but I've never had an issue recovering the backup.

Of the 4 drives still dead that seem to have missing primary and backup headers all have had the primary volume header completely erased. When I hex inspect them the first 512 bytes have been completey zero'd apart from a random 8 byte value at offset 440 from the start of the disk.

All 4 seem to have data at an offset of 131072 from the end of the disk but as it states in the explanation it's all random data so theres no way to tell if it's the backup header or not. Even if it is, it doesn't unlock with my password or anyway.

So anyone have any idea at all what might have caused this?
