Hi guys, I have an issue that I cant seem to resolve. I have tried it on Windows 7 and Windows 10 with the same problem for the past 3 weeks. Let me explain as detailed as I can:
I have two operating systems on my system (dual boot). The one operating system is encrypted (due to security reasons and information that I run from there)and the other is normaly accessable. Once I have completed the one operating systems encryption and restart the pc.. the preboot authentication of Esc to continue does nt work at all. I have to then enter my password to access the two operating sytem options to boot into. Usualy I used to simply press the Esc key and the pc would boot into the non-encrypted operating system. I have been encountering this issue for the past 3 weeks on multiple pc's. I dont knkow what the issue could be.. I tried the older Truecrypt, Ciphershed and Veracrypt all with the same result.
Please is there anyone who could assist me in sresolving this issue.

okay... problem solved.. If anyone might have the same problem in the future what you need to do is to ensure that your system reserved files/partition is not part of the encrypted drive/partition. Decrypt your hidden operating system, use BCD to move the boot partition to the unencrypted partition ( under the back up & restore option) and then re-encrypt your desired hidden operating system partition. All is well then and you will be able to boot into your ecrypted operating system when entering the password... OR by pressing the Esc key at the password promp it will boot into the unencrypted operating system.
