I created a Rescue USB Stick from the veracrypt.iso file and the programm to make it from the official Veracrypt site.

The rescue menu does boot fine, then the password shows up. Because I want to recover / decrypt my HDD, I could press the button to go into the menu.

But then it stops accepting any keyboard inputs. When I press enter at the password screen instead of the number to go to the menu, it does also just register my input once but then never afterwards.

Tried two different keyboards, Both work for one keyboard press and then never again, legacy USB enabled in BIOS.

Why is this happening?
