Hello,
i want to install Truecrypt 7.1a on a Win10 computer.
All is fine, SSD is converted to MBR and i start with Legacy Mode (BIOS)
Now i start Truecrypt and want to encrypt the complete SSD with Windows on it.
When i come to the point where i can choose the Hash Algorithm i want to take SHA-512 or Whirlpool,
but on both options it shows “This algorithm is currently not supported for system encryption”
Only option is to take RIPEMD-160.
Why this error shows up? I used Truecrypt couple of years before and i remember this times i chose SHA-512 without problems.
Also the design seems broken, i have some black bars where normally the logo is shown...
And normally i remember, befor choosing the algo. Truecrypt is asking you to make a revovery iso file, even this doesn't show up....
