Veracrypt can't handle a forced reboot with open volume(s) (freezes windows 10)

Sometimes I have needed to restart my computer (windows 10) via ssh by using the shutdown command.
however, everytime veracrypt has one encrypted volume open, it somehow blocks windows from rebooting, and all that happens is that windows shows a screen where it says "restarting", but it never does..

This could also count as a security risk, since it's not shutting down, the encrypted volumes stays open, and if I'm trying to reboot remotely (as I always do), I can't manually turn off the computer, and the system stays open for different attacks..

Please post a screenshot of your VeraCrypt Preferences since you may not have enabled the features to force VeraCrypt to dismount volumes in use and have VeraCrypt dismount when shutdown is issued.

I've just checked, and I have force checked but not to dismount at shutdown (don't exist), I've just activated to dismount when logging off (suspect that's the same function?)

    Be sure to enable:

    • VeraCrypt Background Task
    • Start VeraCrypt Background Task
    • User logs off
    • Entering power saving mode
    • Force auto-dismount even if volume contains open files or directories
    • Wipe cached passwords on auto-dismount

The only that wasn't set was the user logs of & entering saving mode, so hopefully it will work now.
    thanks
