We are working hard to release the 1.18 in the coming day especially that a serious vulnerability affecting TrueCrypt has been reported privately and I'm working on fixing it as soon as possible.
Also this release will see the introduction of UEFI system encryption support.
And last point: thanks to OSTIF, DuckDuckGo and VikingVPN, an audit will start next week on VeraCrypt. I didn't have to communicate about it but more information can be found at https://ostif.org/we-have-come-to-an-agreement-to-get-veracrypt-audited/
So many things happening! stay tuned!

Let me once again reiterate the gratitude of many that you are progressing Veracrypt forward like this. The world certainly needs an encryption program like this to stay secure over time.
Just wondered if the new 1.18 release will include a fix for the hibernation problems (see the 1.18 beta release thread)? i.e. the failure to initialize the crash dump filter implemented inside veracrypt.sys and which is used to encrypt the content of Windows hybernation file.

The hibernate issue has already been fixed so it will be included in the new 1.18.
Also, I have done a first fix for the TrueCrypt vulnerability but I sill working to enhance it.
The remaining point that still blocks releasing 1.18 is UEFI Rescue Disk which will be based on FAT USB disks and which needs some further work. Hopefully, I can sort out this before the end of the weekend.
