VeraCrypt version '1.24-update 7' on 'Windows 10 Home',
Both (all) of my disks are encrypted with VeraCrypt,
My PC is Asus PN50 (mini-pc).
The problem:
When my PC is in sleep mode, and when I try to wake it up it does not wake up properly:
The PC seems to start up: I can hear the PC fan turning on and I can see the mouse-light turns on, but the screen remains off, and also the keyboard (which was used to wake it up) seems to stop functioning, as I cannot toggle led indicators (CAPS, NUM-LOCK,...)...
I already tried many of the Windows-related workarounds for this problem (disable Windows 'Fast Startup', edit power plan, etc), but this did not work.
The reason why I suspect it might be related to VeraCrypt is because Windows Event-Viewer logs do not contain any messages from the wake-up time. Not in any of the main categories (Application, Security, Setup and System).
This is weird because you would expect to find at least some information level logs from this time.
Since there are zero logs from this time I suspect maybe Windows is failing to function due to an encrypted environment (?)
Many thanks for any help,
Pazo
