I know this may be a very stange thing but when Windows 10 couldn't boot on my Notebook I did a "Permanently decrypt System Drive" using the Veracrypt Rescue Disk which took about 20 days ...
After that I still couldn't see my data. The partition table also got corrupted.
After a while, I now see that I decrypted the system using an older Rescue Disk (1.0f) instead of the last one I had (1.15). Yeah, my error I know :(.
Is there any hope of recovering the data at this point ? I have both rescue disks but now I would need to re-encrypt the data using the "wrong" rescue disk key and then permanently decrypt it using the "correct" rescue disk.
Thanks a lot to anybody that could help solve this issue !
