I have two storage devices that I want to have mounted on startup, a ssd which is my System drive (Harddisk1) and a hhd which is my Hard drive (\Device\Harddisk0\Partition1).
Both storage devices partition style is MBR.
My System drive has Windows 10 1809 installed.
Both drives are successfully encrypted, and both use the same password using the English (US) keyboard layout.
PIM is not used.
I have removed the drive letter (D) from my Hard drive in the Windows partition options.
My Hard drive has been added to System Favorite Volumes, mount system favorite volumes when Windows starts is checked, and the drive is set to be mounted to the letter D.
I have run diskpart and made sure automount is enabled.
I have made sure fast startup is disabled.
However, the Hard drive is not automatically mounted on boot. If I attempt to manually mount it in veracrypt after windows has booted all I have to do is select the Hard drive and click mount, it does not ask me for a password and successfully mounts.
What do I need to do to make sure my Hard disk is accessible by the time Windows boots?
Thank you
