Hello all,
I have a problem with VeraCrypt and Bitlocker on Windows 11 Pro:
On my new notebook (Thinkpad L15) I have set up two partitions. The system partition is encrypted with Bitlocker. The other partition is not encrypted with Bitlocker. I want to encrypt this one with VeraCrypt.
When I have encrypted this partition with VeraCrypt and copied some data to it and then restart the notebook, the partition is suddenly detected as Bitlocker encrypted and can no longer be decrypted with VeraCrypt. Also with Bitlocker I can not decrypt this partition. When I try to do so, I get the Windows error message that Bitlocker encryption is not compatible with this version of Windows.
I have tried several times now with new partitions and the same problem always occurs.
On my previous notebook with Windows 10 Pro I had done it the same way and it always worked without problems.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem is or what I can do?
