I get this error when trying to mount the 14.6TB partition (which is the entire drive) on a 16TB USB HDD.
It says possible solutions are to 1) upgrade the kernel to 2.6.33 or later, but I'm already running 5.10.0-26-amd64, or 2) disable use of the kernel cryptographic services, which warns that it can degrade performance.
I get another error when trying to mount the partition after disabling use of the kernel cryptographic services, but I'll make a new topic about that. I just wanted to check whether there's anything I can do to allow me to use the kernel cryptographic services first?
