I have 2 related problems. I wish to delete a file in a Veracrypt mounted volume but I get the message that I need administrator privileges to do so. I am logged on as an administrator. I have full privileges on teh windows file that is the Veracrypt volume. I get the same message whatever I try to do with the file, including attaching it to this message.
In trying to follow the advice to change the privileges on the file I am trying to delete using the "security" tab under file properties, I find that the security tab is missing from all files in Veracrypt volumes, but present in all files direct on the Windows 10 filing system.
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
What version of Windows? And, Pro or Home? And, with what filesystem did you format the volume? (If FAT or exFAT, there'll be no security tab on any of the files.)
Presumably, you can write files to the volume? Or could, but no longer can?
