Hi. I bought a new NVME drive and want to move main OS NVME drive from slot #1 to slot #2 because it offers faster data transfer. I will be installing new NVME in slot #1.
Can such hardware change cause issues in main drive that has been encrypted with VeraCrypt? I know drives have their paths like disk0, disk1 and such in storage manager. Also there are boot records that OS looks for. What will happen after change of drive placement? Will OS work fine after that and will data integrity be whole?
