Hello whom ever tries to help me:)
Alright I'm having trouble creating a hidden os or encrypting my current one and creating a hidden os in the same time.
I'm reciving an error stating that my current running OS is not running on the first active partition.
I've tried creating a new partition. tried making my 1TB as active but in result it didn't boot into the OS (as is it not the OS partition)
Please help me! Thanks in advance! ps. adding two screenshot in order for you to help me better:) WIN10 64 BIT - 1.21 64 BIT Veracrypt virsion

    Hi Avi,

Please have a look at other thread I've been going through and successfully installed hidden OS. It took me some time but Alex was very helpful and the end results was success.

    https://sourceforge.net/p/veracrypt/discussion/technical/thread/f90bcf05

Hope this helps you. Try to follow guide and seek to the other thread mentioned for help on details.

p.s. I haven't run into any similar message as you, hence your partitioning is probably incorrect.

Agree with Bugsy. Your partition is too small for the hidden OS.

    https://www.veracrypt.fr/en/VeraCrypt%20Hidden%20Operating%20System.html

Scroll down to the section called "Process of Creation of Hidden Operating System" to read the disk space requirements.

However, if the outer volume (not to be confused with the system partition) is formatted as NTFS, the partition for the hidden operating system must be at least 110% (2.1 times) larger than the system partition (the reason is that the NTFS file system always stores internal data exactly in the middle of the volume and, therefore, the hidden volume, which is to contain a clone of the system partition, can reside only in the second half of the partition).

Also, I think you need to remove the drive letter D from the partition since when you boot into the hidden OS it becomes the C drive.

Meaning if I have 1 Drive with 931.51GB how should I split it exactly to be able to run a hidden OS?
Also do I need to firstly encrypt my current OS, or should I format my hard drive and make a new os and then create a new hidden Os?
what is the best way to make a decoy OS and a hidden OS

The link and quote I provided explains you need to make the partition behind your C partition, 2.1 times larger than your C partition to use NTFS filesystem.

        EDIT:
My previous post provides the link which has a section that explains the process of creating the hidden OS.

Here I've made a FAT32 Partition in order to make it only 5% bigger than the decoy.
How should it look like in order to make a hidden partition?
I need to install the windows on the 512GB partition instead of the 418GB?
and then it will allow me to install the hidden os?

Alright after over a week of working and trying a way to find a solution.
after not understanding why am I having this problem I finally found the problem and the solution!
Bugsy, Enigma2Illusion You can't understand how much I appericiate your help and the time you spent on reading my dumb posts and my dumb problems hahahah
to anyone experiencing such a problem here is the solution ---->
When I created a fat32 with the right size and even when I tried to opposite NTFS with %5 more. and even NTFS *2.1 it didn't work for some reason. so I guessed its something with my disk management program, so I burned Gpart live cd.
deleted all the partitions and made them unallocated, then created a partition table ms dos. and then made my first partition 45% of the maximum size as NTFS and the second one as FAT32 with 55% size of the maximum size (I do not store files more than 4GB in the hidden OS so its fine by me:)
and pfff the problem solved after installing a new os on those new made partitions via the live CD!
