new motherboard - windows replaced the Veracrypt bootloader with a new one

I got a new motherboard - inserted the drive, saw the boot prompt, logged in the encrypted system partition (veracrypt boot loader) - then Windows detected the new mother board and started updating its config, apparently it REPLACED the VeraCrypt bootloader with its own.
Now it can't boot.
I tried mounting the drive on a diff machine with veracrypt - says can't mount it.
What are my options here?
