I am using veracrypt 1.24 7 with Debian Linux for a while.
everything worked fine,
have an external HDD connected to a router connected by VPN
I got a new updated router on one side
and a new version of Debian, from Buster to Bullseye, on my PC
since last access to the veracrypt container.
when I now try to open the container
after 5-10 minutes it calls " file handle (too old) Veracrypt::Open::232"
in other forums I found a hint for the mount option serverino
but when I tried to make a new veracrypt-container without this error,
and fill it - it seems that all data were collected locally on the pc
- but there is not enough space for all data - this I did not see before.
Does anyone also have similar experiences?
any hint welcome

Thank you for the link.
Unfortunately it is the same problem.
Have deinstalled and installed renamed Bullseye Veracrypt - same version - same problem
