I tried to compile the VeraCrypt source code and tried to execute the setup.exe on my Windows 10 but run into an error . The compilation and signing process run successfully, but always when I executed the setup files, the following error message occured:
"This distribution package is damaged. Please try downloading it again (preferably from the official VeraCrypt website at ...."
Surprisingly, I found out that the VeraCrypt Version 1.22 and the Versions older than this one execute without problem after compiling and signing them despite the same system, configuration and building process is used.
Has anybody an idea why the versions after 1.23 can not be executed on my machine?
I have the Visual Studio 2010 Version 10.0.40219.1 SP1Rel installed.
If I can provide you with any debuging or system inforamtion, let me know.
