while testing, I noticed that VeraCryptExpander can only increase the size of NTFS containers, not those formatted with FAT. Now I'm wondering: is there any other reason for this, besides "it's just not implemented"? ;)
Don't get me wrong, I'm not here to say, that you should implement it asap. Not that I would mind... ;)
I'm just curious. I have to use FAT for compatibility reasons (NTFS containers cannot be used with EDS on my Android phone without root). So I was looking into how to increase a FAT container. Neither standard windows disk management nor MiniTool Partition Wizard can "see" the filesystem. This, I guess, is probably because of the way it's mounted. But without them seeing the partition, I can't increase the size.
So, correct me if I'm wrong... but for now, the only option for me is to create a larger container and simply copy all files from old/small to new/large[r]. Is this correct or am I missing something? :)
