I have an encrypted raid volume. I added a new drive to the raid, did the extend volume in disk manager, then used the "volume expander" thingy, and now when I mount the drive it says that I have to format before I can use it. Did I do it wrong? and is there a way to fix?
In "volume expander", i didn't have the "fill with random data" box ticked as I have no clue what it was good for. I might be horrible at searching, but I couldn't find any info on what it's good for. I'm probably stupid. Anyway... when I clicked OK, it took like two seconds to finish, which seemed a bit short.
I'm using veracrypt 1.21 and on Windows Server 2016. Also, as you might have guessed, I'm a bit of a newbie :\
EDIT: sorry, I see that my topic suck but can't figure out how to change it
EDIT2: Let me know if you need more info. Added some.
