Hello, I recently created a container in Veracrypt for Windows. I went to open this on VeraCrypt for Mac Yosemite and when I enter my password it says that I must install OSXfuse with the MACfuse layer. I then downloaded and installed the OSXfuse 2.7.2 the most recent stable version and reentered my password to open my container and then I get an error message saying something about there is a version mismatch with the kernal. I removed OSXfuse 2.7.2 and installed older versions and got the same error, then I installed OSXfuse 2.6 and it said that it was not supported. What to do about this?

Are you using the official VeraCrypt installer or did you compile your own version?
If you are compiling your own version of VeraCrypt, then you should use an SDK version <= 10.8. This due to an issue with the OSXFuse library that is not compatible with programs built using an SDK >= 10.9.

There is no error if you use the official install because it's built using OSX SDK 10.6. I just did a test on clean Yosemite machine with OSXFuse 2.7.2 and VeraCrypt 1.0e and it works without any issue.

I wanted to ask before upgrading to the newest Mac OS 10.10, is Veracrypt compatible with it or are there issues?
Thanks!
Yes, VeraCrypt is compatible with MacOSX Yosemite (10.10).
