Unable to encrypt whole drive - Windows 10

Hello.

Can't encrypt whole drive with Windows 10 (1803) the latest build.
Versiono of VeraCrypt 1.23
Can you help me to solve this problem?

The whole drive was encrypted two days ago at this computer.
Than i have change SSD drive from Samsung EVO 850 500 Gb to Samsung EVO 860 500 Gb and reinstall Windows 10.
There is NO other changes in configuration.

But now i can't crypt whole drive:(

At appears that your prior installation of Windows 10 was using MBR method instead of the newer UEFI method.

With the new SSD not having any existing partitions, the Windows 10 installation used the preferred UEFI.

In my opinion, there is no need to be concerned that the whole disk option is not available. Encrypt the OS partition. Even Windows BitLocker does not encrypt the UEFI partition since this partition is needed for booting.

If you have other encrypted user data partitions that are on the system drive that you want to mount at bootup see the documentation below.

Good to get your opinion on OS only encryption. It was a question that I've always had about the possibility of data leaks to unencrypted partitions.

Is there any plans to support UEFI in future releases of VC?
