Hi everyone,

When I created my backup disk I split the size over a none encrypted and an encrypted partition. Now I want to change that and I'm trying to make one big partition. But .. I made the encrypted partition at the end of the disk, so I cannot use the expander. So, what I want to do instead is create a new encrypted partition at the beginning of the disk, copy all the files to this partition, delete my original encrypted partition, and than extend.

Before I start this long process of copying files, I through I gave it a test round. I created a small (5gig NTFS) partition, encrypted it and used 'Device panel' to expand the partition to 15gig. All good so far!! Then I started "VeraCrypt Expander" and when the status was "Starting volume expander" it gave me error "volTransformThreadFunction:1132".

What Ii tried so far is disabling all the available options of Windows Defender.

Can anyone tell if and how I can solve this problem? Thanks in advance!

EDIT: I use the latest version of Windows 10
