I am encrypting a large drive. 12TB. It has taken 3 days and had one day left to go when the OS power cycled and now it looks like it wants me to create a new volume as if NOTHING I did for 3 days is there. I thought that this would resume if interrupted?

If so, how do I get it to do this. If not what does that mean?
